cyoa_xchangeCreate Your Own Adventure will be a CYOA-centered multifandom exchange, run through AO3, probably either from September through October or October through November!
I'm working on rules and timeline right now, and also looking for a co-mod to help and feedback as I set up. The current outline I have is:
• Matching on Fandom+Relationship (with some kind of solo:character or character&any matching)
• 750? 1000? word minimum
• Minimum 3 endings, two at least two 2 choices deep
(so the most basic structure is this:)
• At least one ending should have a requested ship, OR the whole fic should heavily involve/be from the pov of the requested solo character
• Treats should have at least 2 distinct endings
• Comments required
• No RPF with current political figures (or otherwise in very, very bad taste, like real child/their real parent, real murderer/real victim, etc)

TO-DO LIST/SUGGESTIONS/ANSWERS FROM DISCORD:
• Better RPF rules (possibly cribbing from Yuletide or FIAB)
• Comment within ?1 month?
• Possibly raise word count?
•• Also specify that repeated segments within multiple paths (as long as the paths themselves are unique in other ways) and choices/prompts count to the wordcount
• If you want to use Choicescript, Twine, Inklewriter, etc, post a transcript of the game as additional chapter[s] for wordcount checking
• Suggest in the info and signup that participants specify how bad they want bad ends to be (missing meetcute? someone dies? someone gets trapped in a Saw movie?) & specify if they're open to unrequested ships, multiple of their requested ships down different paths, or only one ship?
• Worldbuilding nominations are fine
